Friendship Adventure is a brewery. We brew refreshing, sessionable beer. Something for friends to drink. Our brewery started as a plan hatched between pals, and we love to see other groups of friends come together to do something special. We care about what you drink (obviously), but we also care about where you drink it, and with who(m?), and why.
The Baytree Centre
The Baytree Centre is a wonderful organisation based round the corner from us, on Brixton Road. They are a social inclusion charity for women and girls. An integral part of the community since 1991, they provide holistic support through personal development activities and workshops, mentoring, coaching, as well as English classes and integration support for newly arrived migrants and refugees.
Cross River Partnership
Cross River Partnership (CRP) is a partnership delivering environmental, economic and community-focused projects. With the help of CRP and cargo bike courier Pedal Me, we are delivering beer by bike across London. We have delivered one tonne of beer cans from our brewery to CRP’s storage hub in SE1. From there, we are sending cargo bike deliveries to some of our stockists across London, creating a quick, flexible, end to end zero emission delivery service! For more information on the project, please visit CRP’s Clean Air Freight page.
London Living Wage
We are committed to paying our staff a fair wage. The campaign for a Living Wage was started by Citizens UK - the national home of community organising - in 2001. Together with communities and activists across the country they have been campaigning since - to ensure that everyone can earn a real Living Wage that meets the cost of living, not just the government minimum.
The London Brewers' Alliance helped us find our first brewing partner, and is an invaluable resource. We owe our very existence, in large part, to the sharing, inclusive attitude of its members.
South London Cares
South London Cares is an organisation aimed at bringing older and younger people together in Southwark and Lambeth to combat loneliness. Particularly in the case of older people whose social networks may have frayed and whose communities are transforming faster than ever before due to globalisation, gentrification, digitisation, transience and housing bubbles; and for younger people facing work and social media pressures and often living far from friends and family. We offer our space for South London Cares to show appreciation for their incredible volunteers.
